Volunteering

At LFCN, there is opportunity for everyone to explore and discover their spiritual gifts that build and grow the Body of Christ. We are convinced that we are “Saved to Serve”. There are few things more rewarding like being involved in fulfilling, life-changing ministry! As Christians, God uses our natural abilities, talents and skills, spiritual gifts and life experiences as tools by which we can serve His Church and others. The Scriptures confirm that God has given to every member of the Body of Christ at least one area of service and ministry that is tailor-made for them. He also bestows on his children the gifts that they need to accomplish the tasks, so that they and the Church may be built up and function at its best.

There are numerous areas of ministry – whether it is in the area of adult, children’s, youth or seniors’ ministry; worship arts; media; hospitality; visitation; facilities management – to name a few – you can become involved.

All personnel in areas of ministry involving children, youth or vulnerable adults must complete “Abuse Prevention” screening and training before being beginning to serve at LFCN.

To find where you may best serve and grow, pick up a Church Ministry/Service Survey; complete and return it to one of the pastoral staff as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, just speak with one of the pastoral staff.

Discover the joy of serving Christ by serving others.
